  1. Who we are

Our trustees

The board meets quarterly to manage delivery of the vision for the Charity. Current trustees bring a wide range of skills and experience to the board and are keen to develop the projects which the charity can deliver.

While we have a wide range of skills and attributes across our trustee panel, we would benefit from more experience in employment and premises skills. Our current trustees are as follows -

MARK MANSELL:

A retired solicitor who was with a large London firm and is Chair of Trustees, having been on the board for five years. He is also linked with Hope 4, a charity for the homeless in Rugby.

LES GILL:

Les has been a Trustee since the inception of Futures Unlocked and is based in Leicester. A retired minister and prison chaplain, he served for 30 years as a police officer. He is also a founding Trustee of the Helping Hands Community Trust that provide a one stop free advice service and mental health support to vulnerable clients within the Leicester and Leicestershire area.

EMMA WELLS:

Emma is National Secretary to the Community Chaplaincy Association which is the overarching charity supporting all chaplaincies across the country. She is closely associated with Futures Unlocked having been Operations Manager in the past.

DAVID PROCTOR:

David is an accountant. He recently retired from being the London Underground Governance Manager where he managed the London Underground's governance including its interface with Transport for London's governance arrangements. David is our Company Secretary and Treasurer and is responsible for fundraising.

VICTORIA DE KOCK:

Victoria for Warwickshire County Council and is a mentor with the charity. She has experience of resettlement in the prison environment and knows the difficulties our clients face when released.
