CLIENT E:

I am writing this testimonial to give people an idea of how Futures Unlocked has not only helped me but can probably help you. I've worked with Futures Unlocked on a couple of occasions. The first time they helped me was back in 2019 to get some funding to get me my driving licence, as this was a stepping stone to gaining my HGV lorry licences. Unfortunately, I ended up getting recalled so the next time I worked with them was when I was released in 2023. I started working with my mentor, and to be honest if it wasn’t for her, I would be homeless right now. She is a person that will bend over backward to help you if it is within her power to do so, not only has she helped me with my housing, but she is really easy to talk to and just having a chat with her has helped me with my mental health a lot. I suffer from severe anxiety, just leaving my home is a big thing for me so when I get a support worker that is easy to talk to it helps. Futures Unlocked have helped me from the minute I was released and helped me all the way until I am now settled in my own place. Thank you Futures Unlocked, without your help I wouldn’t be where I am now.

CLIENT F:

My mentor has supported me through a lot. He helped me gain a cv and helped me do my disclosure letter which where the biggest things holding me back from employment. We met every week which was great as within a couple of weeks I had gained full time employment. He was always polite, friendly, and very helpful and he made me feel at ease straight away. He also supported me through some emotionally difficult times when I had health scares. I knew I could pick up the phone if I ever had an episode of anxiety stress or just in general. His help and support have been amazing.
