The difference we make

With over 13 years of experience, Futures Unlocked has developed a well designed and delivered mentoring programme.

Overview

Our case referrals are predominately high risk National Probation Service cases with convictions for murder, robbery, serious sexual offences and the like, though we also have referrals from the Community Rehabilitation Company for low to medium risk cases.

We have clients who are wheelchair bound, on the autism spectrum, hear voices, are alcohol/drug dependent, have a range of personality disorders. They are mainly White British, but can also come from Asian, West Indian, African and a number of European backgrounds; are male, female or identify otherwise. Our clients are aged 18 to early 70s.

The difference we make (2019):

We measure the distance travelled by our clients on their journey of desistance across a range of pathways all of which, if improved, contribute to a crime free life. This chart is the result of work done in 2019
