Mike's Story

Crying out
But there's no one to hear
There's a fork in the road
Which way should I veer
I'm trapped in a cage
With everywhere to go
It's like running a race
But never reaching your goal

Life is like an ocean
And I am a boat
No matter how hard I struggle
I can't stay afloat
The waves crashing down
Cause me to shudder
By holding together
I know I'll have to face another

The storm rose
The wave's crash and they fall
100 foot faces of Gods Good Ocean gone wrong
I feel
The ending Closer than ever
Something comes to save me
And steers me away
I have hope for tomorrow
To live another day

Love is like a rudder
She steers the whole ship
She keeps me from straying
She won't let me slip
But it won't last forever
She's not always around
Right at the last moment
She might let me down

All I've ever done is love you
But it all ends in vain
It seems that all my love is vinegar
This just fuels the pain

Everything is gone now
There's no will to live
